the worst part of the whole thing is that there is no schedule to this--it happens randomly, so i can't even brace myself for it. i'm thinking of living the next nine days in the closet under the stairs; it's full of hurricane supplies and has no windows--maybe i'll feel safer in there! ahh, the joys of living in the Sunshine State! :)
