Project Pix [personal entry]

Okay; the project has been completed, and carried carefully to school--although at one point this morning, I must admit to threatening that if the little darling didn't immediately improve his [very] shitty attitude, I myself would personally stop the vehicle, remove the project board from the backseat, tear it up, and happily scatter it to the four winds. I had the right to do this of course, because guess who wound up putting at least 85% of that board together?

Many thanks, gang, for the support--and a few good laughs--along the way. Without further ado, I present to you The Project Board:

Left side of board THE BOARD! Right side of project board

Oh wow, that looks so professional! Just look at that graph! I think Ko & you did a terrific job. He's sure to get some good marks.

just look at that graph, created wholly by mommy's little fingers at 0540 this-freakin'-morning. and i made, oh, half a dozen mistakes. in ink. that i then had to cover with wee scraps of glued-on white paper. gee--i hope it doesn't lower my grade!

OMG - 5.40, oh, that's just awful! And mistakes in ink, ouch - this whole project sounds like a nightmare now...

which is why the sharp and shiny implements continue to beckon.....

Be strong! Put them away!!

NO! i am getting reassurance from knowing that they are close at hand. seriously, it's a good thing kid's at school all day; perhaps by pick-up time, i'll have calmed down a bit. i'm exhausted, frustrated, disappointed, and stressed to the max at the moment. not exactly conducive to good parenting--or anything else, for that matter.

Oh hon... *hugs* I do hope you calm down a bit. Stress is bad. Is a nap at all possible? Or wouldn't that work?

[identity profile] kidsnurse.livejournal.com 2008-11-17 04:22 pm (UTC)(link)
actually, getting ready to lie down and try it. great minds think alike! might be tomorrow before i can concentrate on lovely long email; i know you understand. *hugs back*

Well, napping always works for me and I can sleep almost always and everywhere (provided I don't have a stomach-bug like these days...), so I thought it might help you.

And please take whatever time you need, of course I understand (especially because I went kind of overboard and used a zillion words in that e-mail; I'm not the concise type!)

I told you - PUT THEM AWAY - PUT THEM AWAY. They are to be reserved solely for the next project you have for homework.:)
